Nixon

Gemma began her career with Scottish Dance Theatre in 2002 under the direction of Janet Smith. She joined Rambert in 2006, where her many highlights included the role of Mother (Christopher Bruce's Hush) and Blanche Du Bois (Javier De Frutos's Elysian Fields). In October 2012 Gemma toured the USA with the Russell Maliphant Company and went on to join Company Chameleon, where she has worked as performer, choreographer and rehearsal director. She was a guest artist with Mad Dogs Dance Theatre in 2013, and in April 2014 performed with HeadSpaceDance, working with Johan Inger and acclaimed Theatre Director Matthew Dunster. In January 2017 Gemma was a guest dancer for the Royal Ballet performing in Les Enfant Terribles directed by Javier De Frutos.
