Sveaas

Clemmie Sveaas is a performer/maker living and working in London. She trained at London Studio Centre and has since gone on to work for both, companies and as a freelance artist. She was invited to join the New Movement Collective in 2013 after being a guest collaborator for their production of Nest. Clemmie has worked for an array or Choreographers such as, Fin Walker, Kim Brandstrup, Will Tuckett, Cathy Marston, Javier De Frutos, Luca Silvistrini, Darrel Toulon, Didy Veldman, Lucy Guerin, Steven Hoggett, Scott Graham, Arthur Pita and has worked for Companies, Rambert and Phoenix. She has also appeared in HeadSpaceDance company’s productions since their birth in 2012. As an actress Clemmie has worked at the National Theatre, Royal and Derngate, Shakespeare’s Globe and The young Vic for directors such as Rufus Norris, Carrie Cracknell, John Tiffany, Matthew Dunster, and Claire van Kampen. She has been nominated three times for the Critics Circle National Dance award and for an Olivier award for outstanding achievement in dance.
